Option A (without "AUTO" position)

Turn the main switch handle away from you or towards you to turn the headlights, other external lights and instrument panel lighting on or off, respectively.

Note: To avoid draining the battery, do not leave the lights on when the engine is not running (except where required for security reasons).

Option B (with the switch in the "AUTO" position)

Turn the main switch handle away from you or towards you to turn the headlights, other external lights and instrument panel lighting on or off, respectively.

Position "AUTO" (automatic control of lighting devices)

(Data provided by the website: «MazBook.ru»)

If the central light switch handle is turned to the "AUTO" position (automatic control of lighting devices), then when the ignition is on (the ignition switch is in the "ON" position), the headlights and other external lighting devices, as well as the instrument panel lighting, are turned on and off automatically according to sensor signals depending on the external lighting conditions.
