Anti-theft system - immobilizer allows you to start the car engine only if you have a wearable card registered in the system "Advanced Key".
Attention! When starting the engine with an auxiliary key (for example, if the battery of the portable card is discharged "Advanced Key" or malfunction), follow the recommendations below. Otherwise, the system will not be able to correctly receive the signal from the auxiliary key, and the engine will not start.
Anti-theft system (immobilizer) activated when the ignition switch is turned from the "ON" position (ignition on) to the "ACC" position (auxiliary consumers of electricity) or "LOCK" (blocking). The immobilizer indicator located on the instrument panel will flash every two seconds until the immobilizer is disarmed.
Disabling the immobilizer
Anti-theft system (immobilizer) turns off when the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position (ignition on), if you have a wearable card registered by the system with you "Advanced Key". In this case, the immobilizer indicator will light for about 3 seconds and then go out. If the engine does not start with a registered card and the immobilizer indicator continues to light constantly or flash, this may indicate a malfunction of the anti-theft system.
The engine may not start and the immobilizer indicator may remain on or flash if the wearable card is in an area where the system cannot reliably detect a signal, such as on the dashboard or in the glove box. Move the wearable card to another location, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" position (blocking) and then try to start the engine. Signals from TV and radio stations, from a transceiver or a mobile phone may interfere with the immobilizer. If the immobilizer is not working when using a registered wearable card, "Advanced Key" the engine does not start, pay attention to the immobilizer indicator. If the immobilizer indicator is flashing, turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" position (auxiliary consumers of electricity) or "LOCK" (blocking) and take a short break. Then try to start the engine.
