The keyless entry and engine start system enables the following operations (with a wearable card "Advanced Key" should be with you):
  • locking/unlocking the doors and boot lid/tailgate, and opening the boot lid without using the key;
  • starting a car engine without using a key.

Wearable map "Advanced Key" allows you to additionally perform some functions that are not available for the remote control central locking system. Operations that can be performed remotely using the remote control built into the wearable card (using the Lock/Unlock/Trunk buttons):
  • locking/unlocking doors and trunk lid/tailgate;
  • opening the trunk lid;
  • opening/closing door windows (with electric windows);
  • locking/unlocking doors and boot lid, opening boot lid and starting engine using auxiliary key.

Warning! Do not leave the key in the vehicle if you have left the vehicle. Do not leave the keys in the vehicle if there are small children in the vehicle. Keep the vehicle keys out of the reach of children. Radio waves emitted by the wearable card "Advanced Key", may interfere with the normal operation of various medical devices, such as pacemakers. Therefore, be sure to consult with a representative of the manufacturer of the medical device or your doctor regarding the safety of using the wearable card "Advanced Key" in close proximity to people using such medical equipment.




Because in the wearable map "Advanced Key" if a low-power radio transmitter is used, the normal operation of the card may be impaired under certain conditions listed below.
  • Wearable map "Advanced Key" is located near mobile communication devices (for example, with a cell phone).
  • Wearable map "Advanced Key" touches or is covered by a metal object.
  • Wearable map "Advanced Key" is located near electronic equipment, such as a personal computer.
  • The vehicle is equipped with electronic equipment that is not a genuine Mazda product.
  • There is a radio emitting device near the vehicle.

Wearable map "Advanced Key" may draw more electrical energy from the battery if it receives strong radio waves. Therefore, do not place the wearable card near electronic devices such as televisions or personal computers.

To avoid damage to the portable card "Advanced Key" the following recommendations must be followed:
  • do not drop or throw the card;
  • do not expose the card to moisture;
  • don't disassemble the map;
  • do not expose the card to high temperatures or direct sunlight, do not place the card on the dashboard or on the hood of a car where it may become very hot;
  • do not place heavy objects on the map;
  • do not place the card in an ultrasonic cleaner;
  • do not place the card near any magnetized objects.

The battery life is approximately one year. Replace the battery if the "KEY" indicator (green color), located on the instrument panel, flashes. Additional wearable cards can be purchased at an authorized Mazda dealer. Up to 6 wearable cards can be used simultaneously on one vehicle "Advanced Key".
