Checking the idle speed (Mazda 6 GG)

Turn off electrical consumers and warm up the engine.

Start the engine.

Maintain engine speed at approximately 3000 rpm until the cooling fans begin to operate.

Release the accelerator pedal.

Wait until the cooling system fans turn off.

Check that the idle speed (WDS: PID min⁻¹) is within the standard using WDS or equivalent.
