Checking the idle speed (Mazda CX-5KE)

Note:

• The idle speed is not adjustable.
• The M-MDS device is used to check the idle speed.

1. Prepare for engine parameter checks.

2. Make sure that the engine idle speed (M-MDS: "RPM") is within the permissible range. If any deviations from the norm are detected, a more detailed diagnosis must be performed and the malfunction must be eliminated.

Note:

• Manual transmission: 500-600 rpm
• Automatic transmission: 550-650 rpm
