Checking for increased idle speed (Mazda CX-5KE)

Note:

• The idle speed is not adjustable.
• The M-MDS device is used to check the idle speed.

1. Prepare for engine parameter checks.

2. Check that the engine idle speed under various loads (M-MDS: "RPM") is within the permissible range. If abnormalities are found, check the relevant input parts, wiring harnesses, and connectors.

Note:

Increased idle speed:

• When the air conditioner is turned on: 650-800 rpm.
• When switching on power consumers: 600-750 rpm.
