Start the engine and let it idle.
With the clutch pedal released, slowly engage reverse gear.
Lock the gear shift lever in the position where the gears engage.
Slowly press the clutch pedal.
Stop the clutch pedal when the gear noise stops (clutch release position).
Measure the distance A (distance from the clutch disengaged position to the fully depressed pedal position) and the clutch pedal travel.

Make sure that the distance A and the clutch pedal travel comply with the established standards (Fig. 3.5).
