On vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, a dry single-plate diaphragm clutch is used (Fig. 3.1).
Before performing any operations on the clutch, it is necessary to carry out several control actions in order to be sure that it is the clutch that is faulty.
When checking the clutch, first check the fluid level in the reservoir. Check the condition of the hoses and their connections. Inspect the clutch pedal bushings for wear and secure fastening.
