The clutch is dry, single-disk, with a central pressure spring, a driven disk equipped with a torsional vibration damper and a ball bearing for engaging the clutch. The clutch drive is cable-operated, gap-free.

Since 1989, a hydraulic clutch release drive has been used. The clutch release fork is steel, stamped and mounted on a ball joint.
