Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

Remove the rear spoiler.

Tie a string to the end of the auxiliary brake light connector so that the connector can be easily pulled through the rear spoiler during installation (Fig. 7.40).

Remove in the order shown in Figure 7.41.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
