The fuel level indicator in the tank shows the approximate amount of fuel in the tank (Fig. 1.55). Fill the fuel tank in a timely manner. Make sure that the amount of fuel in the tank never drops below a quarter of the tank's full capacity. If the minimum fuel level indicator lights up or the indicator arrow is near the "E" mark (Empty), fill the fuel tank immediately.

Note: Arrow near the indicator indicates the location of the fuel tank filler neck (on the right side of the car). The lower position of the arrow corresponds to the reserve fuel supply in the tank.


Note: The low fuel indicator built into the fuel gauge warns the driver that the fuel level in the tank is low. Fill the fuel tank as soon as possible.
