Folding the rear seat cushions and backrests (Mazda 6 GG)

When folding the seat backs, please note the following:

• if the car is parked on a slope, the backrests of the rear seats may tilt forward more sharply compared to when parked on a horizontal surface;
• if the car is parked on a hill, the backrests of the rear seats may not fold. If the backrest does not fold on its own after releasing the lock, pull the upper edge of the backrest from the inside of the car and lower it down.

1. Unfasten the lap belt of the seat belt located in the center position of the rear seat.

2. After checking that the rear seat is clear, open the rear liftgate and pull the locking handles (the handles are located on the left and right sides of the luggage compartment).
