The engine ignition system is electronic, contactless. The ignition distributor sensor with vacuum and centrifugal ignition timing regulators has a contactless sensor (hall sensor), which supplies voltage pulses directly to the ignition coil.
Ignition distributor sensor
Brand: Mitsubishi.
Initial ignition advance angle before TDC: 4°±1°.
Ignition coil
Secondary winding resistance, kOhm: 10-30.
Spark plugs
Brand and type: NGK BPR 5ES or 6E; Denso W 16 EXR-U or W 20 EXR-U.
Gap between electrodes, mm: 0.75-0.85.
Cars with manual transmission

Cars with automatic transmission

Automatic ignition timing advance characteristics: A - centrifugal regulator characteristic; B — characteristic of the vacuum regulator.
When checking on the stand (the distributor sensor has been removed), reduce the values by half. When checking on a car, add the initial ignition advance angle.
