Your Mazda is equipped with standard ISOFIX anchorages that are designed to accommodate a genuine Mazda child restraint system in the outer rear seating positions.

1. Move the front passenger seat to its rearmost position. Then move the seat forward at least 100 mm so that it is in the middle of the longitudinal adjustment range. This will make room for installing a child restraint system (fig. 1.141).

2. Make sure that the seat back is securely locked in place by pushing the seat back backwards until the lock engages.

3. Slightly spread the gap between the seat cushion and the seat back to allow access to the ISOFIX mounting brackets (fig. 1.142).

Note: Markings located on the seat backs indicate the location of the ISOFIX mounting brackets for fitting child restraints.

Attach the child restraint system to the ISOFIX brackets following the instructions of the specific product manufacturer.

If your child restraint system has a top tether, it is important to attach it correctly to ensure your child's passive safety. When installing the top tether, strictly follow the child restraint system manufacturer's instructions.
