Since the vehicle uses a returnless fuel system, the fuel pump unit, except for the fuel gauge sensor, is integrated. To prevent engine power from decreasing due to insufficient fuel supply, such as when the vehicle is turning, the fuel pump has been designed to provide a constant supply of fuel. The fuel remaining in the fuel pump reservoir is supplied from two sources: a check valve and an ejector (Fig. 2.62
