Turning on

Look through the inspection window in the side trim of the footwell. When the power button (1) is pressed, the current supply circuit is not broken. If, on the contrary, the button pops out, the fuel pump switch is off.
Precautions: If there are leaks after an accident or if there is a smell of gasoline, the switch must not be closed, as this greatly increases the risk of fire.
Turn off the ignition.
Check the fuel system for leaks. If no gasoline is seen coming out or there is a smell of gasoline, then press the safety switch button
Turn on the ignition - the fuel pump will start working audibly and create fuel pressure.
Turn off the ignition and check the fuel system again for leaks and, if necessary, repair the leaks.
Removal
Ford Fiesta/Mazda 121: Remove side trim in driver's footwell.
Ford KA: Fold back the carpet from the side wall of the front passenger footwell.
Press the insulation away from the switch and unscrew the two switch bolts.
Remove the multi-pin plug from the safety switch.
Installation
Insert the plug and secure the switch with two bolts. If necessary, turn on the switch by pressing the button.
