Disassembly and assembly of a telescopic stand (Mazda Familia BF)

Warning: Replace front suspension shock absorbers and springs on both sides of the vehicle at the same time.

Disassembly

Remove the telescopic stand.

On vehicles with adjustable suspension, remove the damping control motor and its bracket.

Install a spring remover on the suspension strut and compress the suspension strut spring until the upper support is completely unloaded.

Loosen the nut on the shock absorber rod.

Gradually release the suspension spring and remove the suspension strut parts in the order shown in the figure.

Assembly

Assemble the telescopic stand in the reverse order of disassembly, observing the installation order and mutual arrangement of parts, and then install the telescopic stand in place.
