Place the front of the vehicle on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side.

On vehicles with adjustable suspension, remove the rubber cover and disconnect the suspension adjustment motor plug.

Remove the bracket securing the brake hose to the suspension strut.

Remove the bracket securing the brake hose to the suspension strut.


Loosen the nuts securing the telescopic strut to the body mudguard and the nut of the bolts securing the strut to the steering knuckle.

Note: Mark the relative positions on the upper strut mount and on the stud heads so that the marks can be aligned during installation to maintain front wheel camber.


Press the suspension arm and remove the telescopic strut.

Install the telescopic strut in the reverse order of removal, observing the tightening torques of the threaded connections and paying attention to the position of the upper support of the strut, on which the camber angle of the wheels depends (see "Checking and adjusting the front wheel alignment angles").
