Warning! Any work on the generator must be carried out with the engine stopped.
Removal
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
Disconnect the wires from the generator terminals.
Loosen the generator mounting bolts.
Remove the alternator drive belt.
After unscrewing the mounting bolts, remove the generator.
Installation
Place the generator in place and tighten the mounting bolts.
Place the alternator drive belt on the pulley.
Connect the electrical wires to the generator.
Connect the jumper wire to ground on the battery.
Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt.
