Loosen the generator mounting bolts.
Move the generator away from the engine so that the belt deflection when pressed with a force of 10 kgf on the branch between the generator pulley and the water pump pulley is within 12-13 mm for a new belt and 13-14 mm for a used belt.
Tighten the mounting bolts and check the belt tension.
