The right wheel drive, except for vehicles with the "E1" engine, is equipped with an inertial shock absorber. Before installing this shaft, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the inertial shock absorber on the shaft: the distance "A" between the end of the inertial shock absorber and the end of the outer hinge put on the shaft to the limit must be within 405±3 mm.

The installation of the wheel drive is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • when installing the shaft into the hub, lubricate its splined end with plastic grease;
  • replace the washer and nut securing the outer joint of the shaft to the hub;
  • be sure to replace the inner joint housing retaining ring to prevent the wheel drive and axle gear from spontaneously separating;
  • when connecting the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm, ensure that the "X" protrusion (see photo) threads of the fingers of their fastening.
