If the wipers do not clean the glass well, wash the glass and the wiper blades with an effective cleaner or mild detergent, then rinse them thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the treatment of the glass and wiper blades if necessary. Poor wiper performance may be caused by worn or cracked wiper blades. Replace worn blades or wiper blades.
1. Raise the wiper arm and rotate the blade relative to the hinge to expose the plastic retaining tab.
Fig. 1.182. Windshield wiper blade replacement diagram
Move the brush down (in the direction of the arrow as shown in Figure 1.182). Then remove the blade from the wiper arm.
2. Bend down the end of the rubber blade and pull it out of the holder.
3. Remove the spring ribs from the rubber blade and insert them into the new brush blade.
4. Carefully insert the new rubber blade. Then install the blade assembly onto the wiper arm in the reverse order.

Caution! Do not bend or discard the spring ribs. They are reusable. If the spring ribs are not installed in the blade, the glass cleaning quality will be impaired.
Important! Do not use the spring ribs removed from the left wiper blade to install them on the right blade, and vice versa. Make sure to install the spring ribs on the new wiper blade so that the blade curve remains the same.
