Note: It is recommended to change the engine oil together with the oil filter.
1. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
2. Remove the oil filler cap and unscrew the drain plug.
3. Drain the oil through the drain plug on the oil pan into a suitable container.
4. Install a new gasket and tighten the drain plug.
5. Fill the engine with new engine oil.
6. Install the oil filler cap.
7. Check the oil level and ensure there are no leaks with the engine stopped and running.
