The purpose, design and operation of each part of the emission control system of the Mazda 3 (GG) with L3, LF, and L8 engines are the same as those of the MPV (LW) model with FS engine, except for the following:
  • the design of the activated carbon container has been changed
  • a pulsation damping chamber (RH D) is used (Fig. 2.65).
