Precautions when working with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) components (Mazda CX-5KE)
To avoid any damage to the SRS system that could increase the risk of injury or death in a traffic accident requiring the airbag to deploy, any maintenance work on the system should be carried out only at a specialist service station. Special care should be taken when working on components associated with the additional passive safety system (for example, when removing the steering wheel), strictly follow the instructions in this manual. Improper maintenance practices, including improper removal and installation of SRS components, may result in injury due to unexpected activation of the system.
