- Do not touch or disconnect the ignition cable while the engine is running or when cranking the starter.
- Disconnect the ignition wires only when the ignition is off.
- Do not connect a capacitor to suppress radio interference or a voltage indicator to the ground of the ignition coil.
- Connect and disconnect measuring instruments only with the ignition off.
- The ignition coil must not be replaced with another version. Under no circumstances should an ignition coil designed for a circuit breaker system be installed.
- When heated to more than 80°C (for example when painting) the engine must not be started immediately after heating.
- Wash the engine only when the engine is not running.
- When working with spot or electric welding, the battery should be disconnected as a set.
- It is forbidden to carry out work on the ignition system to persons with a pacemaker.
