Place the vehicle on a level surface.

Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

Stop the engine and wait 5 minutes.

Remove the oil dipstick.

Make sure the oil level is between the F and L marks on the dipstick and assess the condition of the engine oil. If the oil level is below the L mark, add oil.

Caution! If during the oil change some of it accidentally gets on the working parts of the engine, wipe it off as thoroughly as possible. The remains of oil that is not wiped off can cause smoke in the engine compartment.

Remove the oil filler cap and the drain plug from the oil pan and oil filter.

Drain the engine oil into a container.

Install the oil filter drain plug with a new O-ring.

Tightening torque (oil filter drain plug): 9–10 Nm.

Clean the oil pan drain plug flange and reinstall the plug.

Tightening torque (oil pan drain plug): 25–30 N·m.

Refill the engine with the specified type and quantity of engine oil.

Note: Recommended oil (see "Operation and Maintenance Manual")
