The oil filter is attached to the right of the oil level sensor (from the oil pan side) on the cylinder block. The filter housing is made of plastic. The oil pressure sensor is mounted on the oil filter adapter. The mesh adapter with a polymer mesh in the middle is made of easily recyclable material. The drain hole at the bottom of the filter is used to replace the oil filter. A water-cooled oil cooler is used to reduce the rate of degradation of engine oil. In addition, a special oil filter adapter was made for the oil cooler, (lF and L3 model engines).
