Press the valve guide bushing from the side opposite the camshaft until the special tool stops against the cylinder head (fig. 2.146).

Make sure that the valve guide projection height (dimension A) is within specification (see fig. 2.143).
Standard height:
- Intake: 12.2-12.8 mm;
- Issue: 12.2–12.8 mm.
