The hydraulic system consists of two separate circuits. The master brake cylinder includes separate reservoirs for the two circuits; in the event of a fluid leak or damage in one of the hydraulic drives, the other remains operational. A dual pressure regulator distributes hydraulic pressure between the front and rear brakes to prevent the rear wheels from locking. A warning of insufficient brake fluid level is given by a control lamp activated by a sensor in the master brake cylinder reservoir.
