2. To avoid damaging the paintwork of the bumper, wrap the handle of the wheel lug wrench with a soft cloth and open the plug located on the front bumper (fig. 1.175).
Warning! Please note that the plug is not completely removed from the bumper. Do not apply excessive force to the plug, as this may damage the plug or scratch the paintwork of the bumper.
3. Securely fasten the towing eye with the wheel lug wrench.

4. Hook the towing rope hook into the towing eye (fig. 1.176).
Caution! If the towing eye is not tightened securely, it may come loose and come out of the mounting socket in the bumper during the recovery of the vehicle. Check that the towing eye is tightened securely.
