If the engine does not start, the possible cause is an over-enriched fuel-air mixture (an excess amount of fuel entered the engine combustion chambers) and fuel getting onto the spark plugs.
To start the engine in such a situation, perform the following operations.
1. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold it down.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "START" position and hold it in this position for up to 10 seconds. If the engine starts, immediately release the starter switch and the accelerator pedal. If you do not immediately release the accelerator pedal, the engine speed will increase sharply.
3. If the engine does not start when the starter is operating with the accelerator pedal fully depressed, then after a 10-second pause, turn on the starter without pressing the accelerator pedal. Turn the crankshaft with the starter for 10 seconds or until the engine starts.
