Attention! To avoid failure of the power steering pump, do not continue to operate the vehicle if the power steering fluid level has dropped to the lower "MIN" mark.


Caution: Use only the recommended power steering fluid in the hydraulic system.

Check the level of the working fluid in the power steering reservoir every time you change the engine oil. The check is performed with the engine off. When checking the level of the working fluid, the engine must be cold. If necessary, add working fluid to the power steering reservoir. Periodic replacement of the working fluid is not required (fig. 1.181).
