Place the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position, open the valve of the device and start the engine to remove air from the hydraulic system.

Quickly turn the steering wheel several times from one extreme position to the other until the oil temperature in the system reaches 50-60°C.
Close the valve of the device, increase the crankshaft speed to 1000-1500 rpm and measure the working pressure with a pressure gauge, which should be about 65 kgf/m².
Warning! It is strictly forbidden to keep the device valve closed for more than 15 seconds to avoid oil overheating, which may disrupt the normal operation of the power steering.
The power steering pump cannot be repaired. Therefore, if the measured working pressure is less or more than the norm, replace it.
