Place steering wheel in straight ahead position, open tool valve and start engine to bleed air from hydraulic system.
Quickly turn the steering wheel several times from one extreme position to another so that the oil temperature in the system reaches 50-60°C.
Close the fixture valve, increase the crankshaft speed to 1000-1500 rpm and measure the working pressure with a pressure gauge, which should be about 65 kgf / m2.
Warning! It is strictly forbidden to keep the valve of the device closed for more than 15 seconds in order to avoid overheating of the oil, which may disrupt the normal operation of the hydraulic booster.
The power steering pump cannot be repaired. Therefore, if the measured working pressure is less or more than normal, replace it.
