Using adjusting screw 3, achieve belt deflection within 8-10 mm with a force of 10 kgf.
Tighten the pump mounting bolt, lock nut and check the belt tension.
Adjusting the tension of the power steering pump drive belt (Mazda Familia BF)
Loosen mounting bolt 1 (see picture) pump and lock nut 2 of the tensioner.
Using adjusting screw 3, achieve belt deflection within 8-10 mm with a force of 10 kgf.
