Notes:
  • 1. It is prohibited to reuse drained oil.
  • 2. It is necessary to thoroughly wash the power steering reservoir filter with a fat solvent, such as white spirit.

Raise the front of the car.

Fill the power steering reservoir with oil up to the upper mark on the dipstick and maintain the oil level in the reservoir constant while removing air.

Without starting the engine, quickly turn the steering wheel several times from one extreme position to the other to remove air from the power steering cylinder.

The primary source is the website (Mazbook.ru)

Place the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position and start the engine: after a few minutes of engine idling, the air will be completely released from the power steering system.

The process of bleeding the power steering system is considered complete as soon as air bubbles stop appearing in the reservoir when turning the steering wheel from one extreme position to another.
