  • Checking the Automatic Transmission Fluid Level
0
It is necessary to check the level of the automatic transmission fluid regularly. The check is performed as follows.

The volume of the working fluid changes depending on the temperature. The level of the working fluid should be checked with the engine idling and at normal working temperature of the working fluid.

Caution! Insufficient working fluid level causes slippage of friction elements of automatic transmission. Too high a working fluid level can cause intense foaming, loss of working fluid and disruption of normal operation of automatic transmission.

Caution! Use only the recommended working fluid. Using any non-recommended working fluid may result in malfunction and failure of the automatic transmission.

1. Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Start the engine and press the brake pedal.
