Examination
1. Warm up the engine by driving 20 km, then the gearbox oil temperature will be at least +65°C.
2. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
3. Let the engine idle for 2 minutes. Apply the handbrake, shift the gear selector lever to all positions and leave it in position R.

4. Remove the measuring rod and wipe it with a clean cloth.
5. Insert the rod back and remove it again.

6. Check the oil level. If necessary, slowly add oil using a funnel and strainer.
Caution! The oil level must not be below the minimum marks, otherwise it may cause damage to the gearbox. If the oil level is above the maximum marks (F), it may cause the gearbox to overheat, which will cause leaks. If the level is too high, the oil must be pumped out.
Warning! If the automatic transmission fluid is black and has a burning smell, the transmission is faulty and should be checked at a workshop.
