Visual inspection of gearbox tightness (Mazda Familia BG)

2. The junction of the cylinder block and gearbox (flywheel gasket/gearbox seal).

3. The junction of the gearbox housing halves.

4. Oil filler bolt/oil drain bolt.

5. Drive shaft on the gearbox.

6. When searching for leaks, proceed as follows.

7. Clean the gearbox housing with cold cleaner.

8. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

9. Sprinkle possible leak areas with talc or lime.

10. Make a test drive. To make the oil more liquid, the test drive should be made over a distance of 30 km.

11. Then lift the car and check the gearbox for leaks using a lamp.

12. Eliminate leaks.
