Checking the transmission oil level (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Remove the front protective tray No.2.

3. Remove the inspection hole plug with the gasket.

Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.

4. Make sure that the transmission oil level reaches the lower edge of the inspection hole. If the oil level is below the minimum permissible value, (see picture), add transmission oil to the gearbox.

5. Install a new gasket on the inspection hole plug and tighten it to a torque of 39-59 Nm.

6. Install front protective tray No.2.
