2. Drain the transmission oil.
3. Disconnect the left drive shaft from the gearbox.
4. Front-wheel drive (2WD) versions: Disconnect the right drive shaft from the gearbox.
5. 4WD versions: Remove the right front drive shaft.
6. All-wheel drive (4WD) versions: Remove the front subframe assembly with engine mounting support No.1.
7. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): remove the transfer case (see chapter "Transfer case").
8. Remove the left or right differential seal.

Note:replace the part with a new one after each removal.
9. Using a mandrel and a hammer, press the new seal evenly until the mandrel rests against the gearbox housing.

Note:replace the part with a new one after each removal.
10. Apply transmission oil to the edges of each seal.
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
12. Fill the gearbox with the required amount of transmission oil.
