2. Drain gear oil.
3. Disconnect the left drive shaft from the gearbox.
4. Front wheel drive versions (2WD): Detach the right drive shaft from the gearbox.
5. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): Remove the right front drive shaft.
6. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): Remove the front subframe assembly with the #1 engine mount.
7. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): remove transfer case (see chapter "Transfer case").
8. Remove the left or right differential seal.

Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
9. Using a mandrel and a hammer, evenly press in a new oil seal until the mandrel rests against the gearbox housing.

10. Apply gear oil to the lip of each oil seal.
11. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
12. Fill the gearbox with the required amount of gear oil.
