
Technical data (Mazda CX-5KE)
The Mazda CX-5 has a load-bearing body structure. The use of zones with programmable deformation in the body structure allows not only to significantly dampen the force of impact during a collision of the car, but also to prevent the doors from blocking due to the distortion of the body panels. In addition, during a collision of the car, the engine together with the front subframe goes under the car, and not into the passenger compartment. All these measures ensure a high level of passive safety of the car.
