Removal and installation the vacuum booster (Mazda Familia BF)

Remove the brake master cylinder (see above).

Disconnect the hose from the amplifier.

Working from inside the vehicle, remove the retaining clip and disconnect the brake booster pushrod from the brake pedal.

Loosen the vacuum booster mounting nuts.

Remove the amplifier.

Install the vacuum booster in the reverse order of removal. After installing it, perform the following operations:
  • bleed the hydraulic system to remove air;
  • make sure there are no brake fluid leaks;
  • check the functionality of the vacuum booster.
