Warning: Replace the shock absorbers and rear suspension springs on both sides of the vehicle at the same time.


Remove the suspension strut assembly.

On vehicles with adjustable rear suspension, remove the adjustable rear suspension motor and its bracket.

Compress the suspension spring using a special device until the upper support is completely unloaded.

Loosen the shock absorber rod nut.

Gradually release the suspension spring and remove the suspension strut parts in the sequence shown in the figure.

Assemble the suspension strut in the reverse order of disassembly, installing the parts in their original places, then install the telescopic strut in place.
