For radio reception, a conventional whip antenna or an electronically amplified roof antenna can be used.

Removal



1. Remove the radio and disconnect the antenna cable.

2. Tie a cord to the antenna cable to facilitate subsequent installation.

3. Remove the front instrument panel, see Chapter Body, car painting, car care, Chapter Instrument panel/middle console.

4. Remove the front footwell trim.

5. Remove the antenna cable from the mount.

6. Unscrew the antenna on the roof and remove it upwards.

1. Insert and pull the antenna cable and outlet hose through the roof hole using a cord.

2. Route the antenna cable behind the instrument panel.

3. Connect the antenna to the receiver and check the reception.

4. Install the instrument panel, see Chapter Body, car painting, car care, Chapter Removal and installation door trim.

5. Install the front footwell trim.

6. Install the radio receiver and adjust the antenna, see Section Removal and installation the radio.
