Attention! If the fan does not work only on one stage, as a rule, the pre-resistor is faulty. In this case, replace all pre-resistors.

Remove the glove compartment, see Chapter Body, car painting, car care, Chapter Instrument panel/middle console.

Fan motor

1. Disconnect the plug from the fan motor.

1. Disconnect the plug from the fan motor.

2. Apply battery voltage (12V) to the terminals using auxiliary cables a (+/ plus) and b (-/ minus).

3. The motor should start working, otherwise replace the motor.

Pre-resistors

1. Disconnect the resistor board plug.

1. Disconnect the resistor board plug.

2. Check the following terminals for current flow using an ohmmeter: a - b; a — c; a — d. If in at least one case the absence of current flow is detected, the pre-resistors should be replaced. The values of individual resistances are in the range from 0.5 Ohm to 1.5 Ohm.
