Removal
1. Turn off the headlight switch.
2. Open the hood.
3. Disconnect the lamp plug from the back of the headlight. Disconnect the plug connection for adjusting the headlight height (if any). Remove the turn signal and parking light bulb (only models from 10/89.).

4. Remove the radiator grille, see Chapter Body, car painting, car care, Chapter Removal and installation the radiator grille.
5. Since 10/89: Unscrew and remove the direction indicator.
6. 9/85 — 9/89 issue: Unscrew and remove the parking light bulb housing.
7. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the headlight forward.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Adjust the headlights in the workshop.
