Removal
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Remove the bottom cover.
Drain the engine oil.

Remove the oil pan using the appropriate tool (fig. 2.291).
Remove the mesh filter and sealing ring.
Installation
Attention! Apply silicone sealant without gaps along the entire perimeter.
Caution! Install the oil pan 5 minutes after applying the silicone sealant.

Using bolts with sealing material residue may cause cracks in the housing (fig. 2.292).
Completely clean and remove any oil, dirt, sealant residue or other contaminants that may remain on the housing and oil pan.
When reusing oil pan mounting bolts, remove any remaining old sealant from the bolts.

Apply silicone sealant to the areas shown in the figure (fig. 2.293).
Thickness of sealant bead: 2.0–6.0 mm

Tighten the mounting bolts in the order shown (fig. 2.294).
Tightening torque: 7.8–10.8 Nm.
Add engine oil.
Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
If there is an oil leak, find out the cause and repair or replace the affected component.
Check the oil level.
Install the bottom cover.
