The valve tappet design does not have adjusting washers. In addition to the valve tappet, the rubbing surface of the cam is phosphated to smooth the surface and increase wear resistance. To adjust the valve clearance, it is necessary to replace the valve tappet. There are 35 sizes of valve tappets depending on the thickness. To distinguish the tappets, they have an engraved marking (3 digits) (Fig. 2.28).
