Loosen the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable (pic. 3.82).

Set the start inhibit switch shaft to position N, as shown in Figure 3.83.

Disconnect the start inhibit switch connector (pic. 3.84).

Loosen the bolts securing the start inhibit switch (pic. 3.85).

Connect an ohmmeter to terminals B and C of the start inhibit switch connector (pic. 3.86).
Turn the start inhibit switch to determine the position at which conduction occurs between the terminals of the connector.
Nominal ohmmeter reading: 750 ohms.
Tighten the start inhibit switch mounting bolts.
Tightening torque: 8–11 Nm.
Make sure that the position of the selector corresponds to the position of the start inhibit switch.
Connect the start inhibit switch connector.

Establish a lock of a cable of management by a transmission, as it is shown in drawing 3.87.
Tighten the transmission control cable nut and adjust its position.
Install the retainer and transmission control cable.
Connect the negative battery terminal.
